Education Advisory Committee
Purpose and Function
- The board shall form an education advisory committee to review educational classes and programs required by the board.
- The committee shall develop minimum requirements in the area of study for electrical education of licensed individuals.
- The committee shall review approved classes and programs every five years or as necessary and submit a report to the board.
- The executive director shall preside over committee meetings.
- The committee shall meet as needed, but at least once per year.

Members
The education advisory committee may include individuals from the following categories:
- Executive director
- Training administrator
- Representative from a North Dakota college-approved electrical degree program
- Representative from an approved online/off-campus electrical program
- Registered professional electrical engineer
- Master electrician (certified instructor)
- Journeyman electrician (certified instructor)
- Power limited electrician (certified instructor)
- Apprenticeship training program representative
